Home Journal Project

Years ago I found FlyLady and while I still don’t follow ALL her perfectly planned cleaning tips & tricks, one thing I could not live without is my Home Journal, or Control Journal as FL calls it. It’s a binder with your important household tasks and information. For a completely unorganized person like myself, I add everything down to daily tasks to keep me in check!! LOL!

That’s the point of a Home Journal, to organize the things you need, the things you need to do, and the things you need done (by, for, or with others) to help keep your home running smoothly.

We’re moving soon and going through my binder today I realized that it is very outdated so I stripped it apart and I’ll be recreating a lot of it over the next few weeks.

For those of you who are interested, I’ll be uploading PDFs of my main printables to get you started on your own Home Binder!

All you need to start is a 3 ring binder, some page protectors, and a dry erase marker!!!

Sit & think about your daily routines.. or the daily routines you wish you had. Once we get these basic printables done, I’ll show you how to use them to stream-line your day!

Pages I will show you how to create and/or link printables of my own:

When you are ready to fill-in your blanks:

Have I told you all about Nitro PDF yet? I don’t always get to make my own printables, some I find on other sites, but when I do, I can still personalize them because Nitro allows you to type text into ANY pdf, save, and/or print it, or even create your own. Best of all… It’s FREE!!! Check it out HERE. I’m not an affiliate, so I get nothing for sending you to it. I just love it and think you will too!
